Since 2017, Ikram Ibrazimov and his team have been building Keemchi - a restaurant chain that combines Korean cuisine with sustainable and modern solutions. Keemchi is known not only for its Bibimbap dishes, but also for making everything from scratch. From the food to the design of the restaurants' interiors, where every detail is imbued with quality and care. Today, Keemchi has four locations in Stockholm and one in Uppsala. The restaurant has also built up a following of several thousand on its social media and reaches out with viral clips that showcase both the food and the experience.
Beyond food, Keemchi is also an example of how innovation can revolutionize a traditional industry. Ikram has applied strategic practices from his background in IT to make restaurant operations more agile and efficient. For example, Keemchi uses point-of-sale systems in its restaurants to create a seamless experience from ordering to delivery.
"We do everything ourselves," says Ikram. "From recipes and food, to design and decoration. We almost never work with external companies, but rely on our strong team of people with lots of different skills in marketing, design, architecture and food."

As a restaurant owner, you often need to make quick decisions and timely investments. When it came time to complete the restaurant in Östermalm, Ikram realized that there was a need for financing to reach the standard of interior design and experience that Keemchi is known for. At that point, it was difficult to get loans from traditional banks, so Keemchi turned to Froda.
"We needed a solution quickly and Froda made the process incredibly smooth. We applied in the morning and by the evening the application was approved and the money paid out. It really was so smooth, just the way we like to work."
Ikram describes the future of Keemchi as an opportunity to challenge and develop the restaurant industry. "Our vision is to build the restaurant of the future. We want to innovate - from innovative materials like 3D-printed furniture, to creating a holistic experience for guests. Restaurants have looked the same for hundreds of years, and we want to change that."
Taking inspiration from countries like Korea and Japan, Keemchi hopes to continue to push the envelope and create something that stands out.

Froda was founded in 2015 with a clear purpose – to democratize access to financing and give small and medium-sized enterprises the same opportunities to grow as large companies. With the help of digital processes and technological innovation, the company has shortened the loan process from months to minutes, making it easy for entrepreneurs to invest in their ideas.
Today, Froda is one of Sweden's fastest-growing tech companies, with a valuation of SEK 1.7 billion and well-known investors such as Karl-Johan Persson, Nicklas Storåkers and Victor Jacobsson among the owners.
In 2021, Froda launched a strategic investment in embedded financing, and through it, the company has expanded to the Nordic region, the United Kingdom and Germany, and has entered into partnerships with, among others, Visa, Lunar and Checkout.com.
Froda is a credit market company that is under the supervision of the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority.
