The scholarship provides women who want to start, or have just started, a business with 100,000 SEK to help them realize their idea.

Submit your application for the scholarship via the form. The last day to apply is December 31, 2025. To be eligible, you need to identify as a woman, be of legal age, be registered in Sweden, and the company you are applying for must not have been started before January 1, 2025.

Your contribution will be assessed on all of these criteria
1. Drive
How much confidence do we have in your drive and ability to lead the company forward?
2. Creativity
What makes your idea unique, and how well does it meet the needs of the market?
3. Sustainability
Is your business sustainable – economically, socially, and environmentally?
4. Feasibility
Is your idea realistic and possible to implement?
5. Problem-solving
Does your idea solve a real problem effectively?
6. Social impact
How much positive impact can your company have on others?
7. Significance of the grant
How much would the grant help you develop the company?
Sweden needs more female entrepreneurs
Only a third of all entrepreneurs in Sweden are women. This is below the EU average, and since 1980, the proportion of female entrepreneurs has only increased by 1 percentage point. To encourage more women to start and run businesses, Froda annually awards the Future Female Entrepreneur scholarship.
About Future Female Entrepreneur
Future Female Entrepreneur was established in 2022 and is awarded annually to a woman with entrepreneurial ambitions. The scholarship aims to provide women who want to run, or have just started, a business with capital that enables them to realize their idea.

Identify as a woman- Business started after January 1, 2025
- Of legal age and registered in Sweden
