Stockholm, March 10, 2026 – Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou, has been awarded Froda's Future Female Founder 2026 scholarship. With a background spanning over a decade in growth and sales, and a deeply personal drive, she is building an AI-driven app with a focus on privacy that supports children's digital well-being. The app helps parents detect early warning signs that affect their children – from bullying and grooming to mental health issues. The app is scheduled to launch in the coming weeks.
The Future Female Founder scholarship aims to support and promote female entrepreneurs in the early stages of their careers, as part of Froda's commitment to creating a more gender-equal business climate. This year's winner was unanimously selected by a jury consisting of prominent entrepreneurs: Jonas Groth, co-founder of Aarke; Ludwig Jonsson, co-founder of Rodolfo; Julia Elf, co-founder of Elfcare; Oliver Mohseni, co-founder of Froda; Jenny Lundkvist, co-founder of Daya Ventures; and Linda Alexandersson, co-founder of Maybe Baby.
"Receiving this grant is a crucial milestone for Trustyou and provides us with the important resources we need to bring our app to market. As we fine-tune our technology ahead of the launch in the coming weeks, our vision is officially becoming a reality," says Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou.
The idea for Trustyou was born when Sakina was looking for a way to protect her own daughter online and discovered that nothing on the market combined early intervention with genuine respect for children's privacy. Together with co-founders Qixin Yang and Frank Riehl, she decided to build something different. Instead of scanning private messages or content, Trustyou analyzes behavior patterns to provide parents with clear and actionable insights—enabling early intervention without compromising children's privacy. The platform provides insights to both parents and young people, tailored to their age.
The concept began to take shape in early 2025, and a few months later, Sakina and her team had formed the company. Now, with the Future Female Founder scholarship as a decisive boost, the launch is imminent. Going forward, the team is aiming for partnerships that can accelerate large-scale distribution.
"Our next priority is to secure a pilot project with a telecom operator to establish Trustyou as the new standard for digital security, transparency, and communication for families in our changing digital world," says Sakina Turabali, co-founder of Trustyou.
- Future Female Founder exists to give female entrepreneurs in the early stages the boost they need. Sakina stood out to the entire jury because she combines deep personal conviction with the experience and drive needed to build and scale a business. Trustyou is a perfect example of what this scholarship is all about—a strong founder with a meaningful idea that deserves to reach the market, says Oliver Mohseni, co-founder of Froda.
Jury's reasoning
With children at the heart of its mission, Sakina has built a digital solution based on trust, security, and long-term impact. Trustyou is tackling a critical societal challenge with the clear priority of protecting children's privacy above all else, and we eagerly anticipate how Sakina's technology will create meaningful and lasting change for future generations.
