
Lillemor Svensson has made a journey from running a small online store to building Nordic Natural Beauty, a leading distributor of sustainable, natural, vegan and organic beauty products in the Nordic market. Her passion for sustainability and quality drives the company's vision of a more environmentally friendly beauty industry.
“When we look at new brands, the most important thing is that they have really good quality, but also that they are sustainable. We investigate the management team and the entire company to ensure they have a sustainable focus. This is an important part of being able to offer products we know are fair,” says Lillemor.

The idea for Nordic Natural Beauty was born after Lillemor read an article about how environmentally damaging the beauty industry can be. "I learned that 150 billion beauty product packages are produced every year, and many products contain ingredients that are harmful to both the environment and humans. This was something I had no idea about, but wanted to do something about."
The journey began as a small online store but quickly evolved into a business-to-business operation. "We started with a single brand, but today we are distributors for several natural, organic, and vegan beauty brands in the Nordics."


Despite the successful development, the road has not always been easy. "I may have been naive and thought it would go very quickly because I thought we had the best idea in the world. But it takes a lot of capital to buy new goods and keep inventory, and the competition is enormous."
This is where Froda came into the picture. "We received a small contribution from Froda that made it possible for us to grow by investing in new brands. It was a smooth process, and it is so important for smaller companies to have such opportunities."
The future looks bright for Nordic Natural Beauty. "More and more people are discovering us and realizing the importance of sustainable packaging and environmentally friendly products. We believe we will triple our turnover in the near future. I think we should have done it already, but the journey is part of the destination, right? You learn all the time," Lillemor concludes.
