Interest for the money in the account is calculated for all calendar days of the year, taking leap years into account. For deposits, interest is calculated from the first banking day after Froda has received the amount. The interest is an effective annual interest rate, which means that for accounts with a term of less than 12 months, you will receive the portion of the annual interest rate that reflects the term of your savings account.
Example 3 months: You deposit SEK 1,000 into a fixed-term savings account with a 3-month term and an annual interest rate of 2%. Since the savings account has a term of 90 days, the interest is calculated as follows: (2% / 365 days) * 90 days, which gives an interest of SEK 4.93 for the period.
Example 6 months: You deposit SEK 1,000 into a fixed-term savings account with a 6-month term and an annual interest rate of 2%. Since Froda Fixed Savings Account 6 months has a term of 180 days, the interest is calculated as follows: (2% / 365 days) * 180 days, which gives an interest of SEK 9.86 for the period.
The current interest rate and terms for the savings account can be found on the website or on My Pages.
Interest on money held in the account is calculated for all calendar days of the year, taking into account leap years. For deposits, interest is calculated from the first banking day after Froda receives the amount. For withdrawals, interest is calculated up to and including the day before the withdrawal date. The interest is an effective annual rate and is calculated according to the interest rate that Froda applies to the savings account at any given time. The current interest rate and conditions for the savings account can be seen on the website or on My Pages.

The guarantee means that Froda should always offer a price that is at least as low as our competitors. If you have received an offer for a loan at a lower price from another bank than what you have been offered at Froda in the last 30 days, we will always match that price. The guarantee otherwise requires comparable terms (e.g., amortization and collateral) and only covers applications that have been granted loans by Froda.
If you are not satisfied with your business loan with Froda, you can repay the loan at any time without extra cost.
Froda has received extended support from the European Investment Fund (EIF) through the microfinance and social entrepreneurship guarantee program within InvestEU. The program enables Froda to lend to small business owners to promote growth, equality, sustainable work, and social inclusion in Europe.
The EIF's micro-guarantee means that you can get a business loan from Froda with a discounted loan cost if you have a company with a maximum of 9 full-time employees and a turnover or balance sheet total of no more than 2 million EUR. You can apply for loans up to 50 000 EUR to be covered by the micro-guarantee. The discount is automatically activated if your company meets the criteria for the guarantee.
Froda's business loan is an annuity loan where you can choose between daily and weekly amortization. Annuity means that each repayment is the same size, but the interest portion is higher at the beginning of the loan term, while the amortization portion is smaller. As you repay the loan, the interest portion for each repayment will decrease, while the amortization portion will increase instead. The repayment of your business loan then takes place automatically via direct debit during the loan period.
For loans over 1.5 million SEK, the loan is repaid monthly.
If you want to make an extra repayment, you can do so under the "manage loan" tab. Select "extra repayment" and fill in the amount you want to pay back. The payment will then be made automatically via direct debit.
Go to My Pages and open your account overview. From there, you can click on your account and then close your account.
If you want to repay the entire loan early, you can do so by logging in to My Pages and clicking on "repay entire loan" under the "manage loan" tab. The amount you have left to repay will then be reserved in your account and debited via direct debit within 2 business days.

By default, the term of your loan will be recalculated and shortened to reflect the new debt. If you prefer to keep the term as it is but have your ongoing repayments reduced, you can log in and adjust the term under "manage loan" once you have logged in.

A personal guarantee means that one or more individuals take on the financial responsibility for someone else. In the context of business loans, a personal guarantee is sometimes used as security for the loan, where the owner, or someone else, acts as a guarantor for the company's loan. This means that the guarantor becomes personally liable to repay the loan if the company is unable to do so.
Business loans
We offer a fully digital business loan, customized to fit the everyday life of small business owners. By digitizing the process, we save time, money and energy for entrepreneurs who need financing. With our business loans, you avoid all the complicated paperwork, time-consuming meetings and manual assessments. Instead, you can apply whenever and wherever you want, you get an objective and fair assessment of your turnover, and you get access to financing when you need it.
Savings accounts
Froda offers simple and secure savings with no fixed fees, both with variable and fixed interest rates. All our savings accounts are covered by the government deposit insurance.
Your withdrawal account must be a transaction account in a Swedish bank and include clearing and account numbers. Bankgiro or Plusgiro cannot be used as a withdrawal account.
Our business loan is an annuity loan where you can choose between daily and weekly repayments. Annuity means that each repayment is the same size, but the interest portion is higher at the beginning of the loan term, while the repayment portion is smaller.
As you repay the loan, the interest portion of each repayment will decrease, while the principal portion will increase.
Repayment of your business loan is then made automatically via direct debit during the term of the loan.
As several parameters come into play when it comes to pricing business loans, the interest rate can differ by several percentage points from loan to loan. The average interest rate can therefore give a misleading comparison, which is why Froda does not use it as a measure. The interest rate your company receives is affected by, among other things, the loan amount in relation to turnover, loan term and credit rating.
When you increase the loan, your old loan is combined with the new loan. So, you won't have separate loans; instead, you'll get a new consolidated loan with updated terms.
